Session 3 Discussion
Our third lesson was about the Word becoming flesh and tenting with us ... learning more about and drawing closer to the invisible Father God through the recorded life of the visible Son.
Well, this is what I want to say. I thought we had a great discussion on Sunday. Some highlights for me:
1. This statement within question 2: God is glorified when his character is revealed.
If you are keeping a list of the attributes of God, your answers to the first part of this question, "How will Jesus glorify God" will include several. One of special significance is God's covenant faithfulness
2. I got to draw eyeballs 6~6 - (More importantly we talked about the eternal perspective Jesus gives to his disciples and us to help us get through hard times.)
3. Several great insights from several participants. Thanks group!
Just want you to know I commented, but when I went to post the comment was deleted because I hadn't signed in. That's a bummer!
I'll have to add my questions and comments later.
For now, my suggestion is that perhaps somebody could take electronic notes in class and post them here so the "great insights" could be shared with those of us unable to attend.
